Pile pressure on Italian government
Christian Aid is calling on Italy, as hosts of the 2001 summit in Genoa, to ensure the shame of Okinawa is not repeated and this time to put a new deal on debt relief on the menu.

Campaigners eat nothing but rice to protest creditors failure on debt
Campaigners in the South West of England have announced a ricefast, starting on 6th December, to protest at the failure of the creditor nations to resolve the debt crisis in the millennium 'jubilee' year.
